To qualify and maintain Elite Preferred status, Culture Construction must complete advanced product training, demonstrate a proven track record of quality installations, maintain proper licensing and insurance, and meet customer satisfaction benchmarks set by James Hardie. Elite Preferred Contractors have access to James Hardie's strongest warranty programs — including the 30-year non-prorated warranty on products and the 25-year finish warranty on ColorPlus Technology — that other contractors cannot offer.

Chicago-area homes face one of the most demanding climates for exterior siding in the country — freeze-thaw cycles, high humidity, summer heat, and significant hail and wind exposure. James Hardie fiber cement is engineered specifically for this climate (HZ5 zone). It does not expand and contract with temperature swings the way vinyl does, which means caulk joints and paint adhesion remain intact over time. It is non-combustible, termite-resistant, and impervious to moisture damage. James Hardie products carry a Wildfire Defense System rating — relevant as wildfire smoke events become more frequent in the Midwest. Vinyl siding melts, warps, and cracks under these conditions. Fiber cement does not.

This process creates a harder, more durable finish than field-applied paint and is backed by James Hardie's 15-year limited fade and chip warranty. ColorPlus is available in over 700 colors and eliminates the need to repaint your siding for 15+ years. For high-end homes in communities like Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Burr Ridge, and Barrington Hills where color consistency and curb appeal are significant considerations, ColorPlus is the standard we recommend.
